In a bizarre crossover event that defies traditional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the formal announcement, "A strange encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses reverberate through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret group.

The adventure centers on "bizarre tests and a monstrous adversary" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a dramatic moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Bonus Features

Players who finish the quest will receive an unique katana in addition to several artifacts hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
